Font - Posted by u/Low-Luck-4733 Short but Sweet I lived in downtown Denver CO for a few years in a big tall building in the south side of the city, maybe 5 blocks from the capitol building. We had shared laundry and though there were 100+ residents, there were few issues with the laundry room. Enters

Font - Enters new entitled move ins, who were rude to me in the laundry room (I had the last free washer). I made sure to come switch out my wash as soon it was done, but maybe missed the "done" beep by 5mins.

Font - I come into the laundry room and my clean clothes were on the floor-sopping wet. This was a Saturday morning- so to act on my revenge I made sure to take the plug out of the washer they used, mid wash, causing the door to auto lock and remain locked, with no electrical component to unlock it until maintenance came in Monday and called a plumber. I kept the chord just in case I needed an extra one day.

Font - Apprehensive-Way3394 1 day ago If you take them out, put them in the dryer ffs 207 Reply Share mEFurst edited 23 hr. ago 23 hr. ago. ... I had a neighbor that would regularly leave her clothes in the dryer for hours after they were finished (there were only 2 washers and dryers in the complex, and at least one of the machines was always broken). I would generally just come back with a garbage bag, put all her stuff in there, and leave it on top of the machine

Font - RealCharlieNobody 1 day ago Some clothes can't be machine- dried, so it's best to leave them on a counter or on top of the machine. I had someone ruin clothes that way once when I was 5 mins late to make the switch.

Font - snurfy_mcgee - 23 hr. ago Which is why you leave your laundry basket on top of the machine (or in front of it) so others know where to put em Reply Share 30 thisoneweirdgirl. 21 hr. ago Bold of you to assume we all live in buildings nice enough that people won't steal your laundry baskets.

Rectangle - Moos3-2 1 day ago I would take them out within 15 min. But I would put them somewhere not on the floor. Unless the same people does it many times. Then f em.

Font - Modevader49 16 hr. ago . I caught a neighbor taking mine out once. They were like "oh I was taking them out it just finished" I was like "I can see that and I know because I have this timer set on my phone" "you do realize you're going to encounter this same bottleneck waiting for my clothes in the dryer right?"

Font - CamibalHolocaust 1 day ago . I'm in a complex with at least 36 rooms and only 2 washing machines/dryers. I've taken washing out of the machine before but always made sure that it's ended up in a dry tub, basket, bucket or at least a "neat" pile on the cabinet and id expect others to do the same with mine if they needed to use the machine asap. On the floor soaking wet is an act of war. Well played!

Font - TheSarcasmChasm 2 days ago Where I come from, there would have been ambulances and SWAT on standby for the fallout, possibly CSI. Not for you, OP, just to lock up or scrape up the insane offenders who threw your clothes on the floor. The community would rally around you as a hero and name a street in your honor.

Rectangle - Vyxen17 +1 - 1 day ago I live in an apartment complex with 72 units and 6 total washers, 6 total dryers. If someone leaves their clothes I find another machine or if that isn't possible I wait a bit longer but I never touch other people's clothes and hate when they touch mine

Font - missannthrope1 +2 23 hr. ago I lived in a apartment building, went to take out my clothes out of the dryer, they were still wet. I thought the machine must be broken, so I moved clothes to the other dryer. But in with my wet clothes was a dry, child's knit cap. I was mystified until it dawned on me. Someone took out my wet clothes, put in their wet clothes, dried them on my dime, took out their now dry clothes and put back my wet clothes.

Font - So I watched from my window and sure enough, I saw another tenant retrieve the hat from the laundry room. I told the manager, said I didn't want to make a big deal about it. Manager got mad said other tenant did the same think to her and got evicted. All because she wouldn't cough up a dollar to pay for the dryer.

Font - Philosemen69 +3.2 days ago So, was this a spur of the moment idea, or had you thought this out earlier and stored it in the back of your mind just in case? I ask because this was this was top level petty revenge. If it just came to you I. AM. IN. AWE!!! I have never come close to anything so perfectly simple and yet evil. I bow down to you, and I fear you, just a little bit.

Rectangle - VixenTraffic +2 18 hr. ago I never understood why people leave their laundry. I would never trust anyone with mine, no matter how long it takes. When I had an apartment, I just bought a portable and hooked it up to the sink.

Font - MadameMonk. 20 hr. ago If you pull this kind of revenge, it's best not to stand around smirking waiting for them to react in person? They'll get the message loud and clear without you needing to risk personal injury.
